Ondo Worshippers Freed After Paying N5m Ransom
Four abducted worshippers from a Celestial Church of Christ parish in Uso, Owo Local Government Area, have regained their freedom after their families reportedly paid a N5 million ransom to their captors. The victims were released on Monday evening at Ilado community, following days in captivity. Sources close to the families confirmed the payment, noting that the kidnappers had initially demanded significantly higher amounts before negotiating down.
