Troops Neutralise Boko Haram Commander, Arrest Drone Supplier in Adamawa Raid
In a series of coordinated counter-insurgency operations, troops of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) have dealt significant blows to Boko Haram networks in Adamawa and Borno states, neutralising a key insurgent commander and apprehending a suspected drone and logistics supplier. According to a statement from Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba, Media Information Officer of the Joint Task Force (North-East) Operation HADIN KAI, troops working with local vigilantes, hunters, and the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) conducted targeted actions on Thursday. In one operation along the Visik River line in Madagali Local Government Area, troops ambushed suspected Boko Haram fighters, neutralising Abdullahi Mafa—a former hybrid commander operating in the Madagali axis—along with at least two other insurgents in related engagements across the region.
