Kano State to Construct Toll Gates at Seven Key Entry Points to Enhance Security and Boost Economy
The Kano State Government has taken a decisive step to bolster security and generate additional revenue by commencing the construction of toll gates on seven major highways leading into the state capital. Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf's administration has handed over sites to contractors for the project, which targets key access roads connecting Kano metropolis to neighboring regions and beyond. The selected locations are Daura Road, Katsina Road, Gwarzo Road, Zaria Road, Maiduguri Road, Hadejia Road, and Sa'adatu Rimi Road.
