  Former Arizona Cardinals defensive tackle and one-time top NFL draft prospect Robert Nkemdiche was arrested last week following an alleged attempt to leave a Kroger supermarket with concealed grocery items, authorities say. The 31-year-old ex-player was ultimately detained not primarily on shoplifting charges, but due to multiple outstanding warrants from various jurisdictions. According to a police report obtained by TMZ Sports, an officer conducting a routine business check outside a Kroger store in Georgia observed Nkemdiche exiting the premises with noticeable bulges in his sweatpants. The items appeared to be "many large objects, square and rectangular shapes, consistent with concealed grocery items." The officer requested backup as Nkemdiche proceeded to a nearby gas station.
