Iconic Italian fashion designer, Valentino Garavani has died at the age of 93. The deceased’ foundation confirmed the development in a statement posted on Instagram on Monday, disclosed that he died peacefully at his Rome residence while surrounded by family. “The Fondazione Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giametti announces the passing of its founder, Valentino Garavani, who peacefully passed away today at his residence in Rome, surrounded by the love of his family,” the statement reads. Valentino is widely regarded as one of the most iconic fashion designers of all time. He started the Valentino fashion house, which became known for shaping modern luxury and haute couture.
