First Lady Tinubu, Gowon, Obasanjo, Jonathan Set for NASS Christian Chapel Dedication on March 1
Former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan are scheduled to jointly inaugurate a newly built 750-capacity Christian chapel at the National Assembly Complex on Sunday, March 1, 2026. The event, organized by the Christian Legislators Fellowship of the National Assembly, will feature the commissioning and dedication of the non-denominational worship centre. It is expected to draw a host of prominent Nigerians, including Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu; former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon; President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Daniel Okoh; President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Francis Oke; and Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Matthew Kukah, among other senior clerics, policymakers, and eminent personalities.
