 Influencer Ash Trevino has pleaded guilty to welfare fraud and healthcare fraud after Texas prosecutors alleged that she had relationships with between 50 and 75 inmates over several years. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, prosecutors claimed Trevino had relationships with approximately “50-75 inmates” in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. They alleged that some of the inmates were serving sentences for violent offences, including aggravated robbery and murder. Prosecutors also accused Trevino of soliciting money from followers on TikTok in exchange for disclosing health information about a dependent. The court documents further alleged that the influencer had participated in s3xually explicit videos and livestreams on social media. Trevino was initially arrested in December 2025 on outstanding warrants.  Dramatic footage has shown Japanese surgeons clinging to a patient after a powerful earthquake rocked the operating room.  Doctors working at a Kumamoto hospital were captured on CCTV holding the shaking operating table down as objects flew across the room during the 7.1-magnitude quake.  In the footage, captured on July 28, the theatre starts to sway before some of them are suddenly thrown across the room. Two hold the table down and shield the patient while the lights flicker on and off and others stumble.   Another is thrown to the floor while attempting to secure the moving equipment.   Japanese media revealed that the surgery resumed and was later completed successfully, while the hospital resumed normal operations on August 5.   See the video below.    

  The Nigerian Navy has recovered approximately 24,000 litres of a product suspected to be stolen crude oil during an operation against crude oil theft and illegal bunkering in Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State.   The recovery was made by personnel of the Forward Operating Base (FOB) Bonny under Operation Delta Sentinel, following credible intelligence about suspected attempts by criminal elements to establish illegal connections to oil infrastructure around the Bethel Community axis.   Porsha Williams has reached a seven-figure divorce settlement with her ex-husband, Simon Guobadia, and will keep the Atlanta home they once shared, according to court documents. Williams said in court filings that Guobadia transferred his interest in the property to her through a quitclaim deed. Under the settlement, Williams is also entitled to $1,568,181.63 in reimbursement from Guobadia’s share of the property’s equity. He also agreed to transfer ownership of a 2021 Rolls-Royce Ghost to her.   A Zimbabwean man has reportedly sparked an unusual ownership dispute in South Africa after allegedly selling the same tuck shop container to four different buyers. According to reports, each of the four South African buyers believed they had legitimately purchased the container and paid the seller for it. The situation reportedly came to light after the buyers encountered one another and each claimed ownership of the same structure. They compared details of their respective transactions and allegedly discovered that all four had paid the same Zimbabwean seller.   The seller was reportedly no longer available, leaving the buyers to deal with the dispute among themselves.
