FG Committed to Fast-Tracking Development in Northeast – Minister
The Federal Government, under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, remains steadfast in its commitment to accelerating socio-economic development across Nigeria's Northeast region, according to the Minister of State for Regional Development, Barr. Uba Maigari Ahmadu. Speaking at a recent engagement, the minister emphasized that the Tinubu-led administration prioritizes the Northeast as a key focus area in its Renewed Hope Agenda. He highlighted ongoing efforts through institutions like the North East Development Commission (NEDC) to address infrastructure deficits, post-insurgency recovery, economic revival, and poverty reduction in states including Borno, Adamawa, Yobe, Bauchi, Gombe, and Taraba.
