Kajuru Abductions: PFN Condemns Mass Kidnapping, Demands Immediate Rescue of Over 100 Worshippers
The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has strongly condemned the abduction of over 100 Christian worshippers in Kurmin Wali community, Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, calling on security agencies to urgently deploy all resources for their immediate and unconditional release. The incident occurred on Sunday, January 18 or 19, 2026, when armed bandits stormed three churches during ongoing services, abducting an estimated 172–177 worshippers. Reports indicate that nine to eleven individuals managed to escape shortly after, leaving approximately 163–166 still in captivity. The attackers, described by eyewitnesses as heavily armed gunmen, forced victims to march into nearby forests.
