Yobe Police Smash Inter-State Motorcycle Theft Syndicate, Arrest Suspect and Recover Five Stolen Motorcycles
In a major crackdown on rising motorcycle-related crimes, operatives of the Yobe State Police Command have uncovered and burst an inter-state syndicate notorious for burglary, theft, and snatching of motorcycles in Yobe, Gombe, and Bauchi States. The Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Dungus Abdulkarim, announced the development in a statement released on Friday, March 6, 2026. According to the police, the operation, based on credible intelligence, culminated in the arrest of one Lukman Inusa, a 27-year-old resident of Potiskum Local Government Area.
