A former attorney has been indicted by a grand jury on serious felony charges, including conspiracy to commit murder, after allegedly attempting to poison her husband by repeatedly lacing his food and drink with fentanyl. Sara Baker, previously a practicing lawyer in Cullman County, was indicted last month following an investigation into multiple incidents where authorities say she introduced the powerful opioid into her husband's meals.
