The Niger State Police Command has arrested a 37-year-old man and a teenager for homos3xuality and sodomising minors
The spokesperson for the command, SP Wasiu Abiodun, who disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, May 7, 2026 said the 37-year-old suspect identified as Isah Usman, has been s3xually assaulting boys aged 15, 13 and 14 in his compound. Similarly, the command arrested a 16-year-old boy, Yusuf Shehu, for allegedly performing unnatural s@xual acts with a 14-year-old boy in an uncompleted building. According to the PPRO, the incident came to light after the minor was seen spending money lavishly. When questioned by his boss who is a mechanic, the minor made the revelation, adding that said Shehu usually gives him between N2000 - N2500 after the act. "On 23rd April 2026 at about 3:30p.m, a report received indicated that one Isah Usman 37yrs of Angwan Biri Area who sells honey, has been forcefully having unnatural carnal knowledge of young boys aged 15yrs, 13yrs and 14yrs severally in his room,” the statement read.
