 Nigerian singer, Spyro has shared a somber reflection on the country's social fabric, claiming that his experiences over the past two months have revealed a severe absence of love among citizens.   In a statement posted to his official Instagram account, the singer expressed deep concern over the moral direction of the nation. He asserted that a culture of self-interest has permeated society, largely blaming foundational upbringing. Parents have raised selfish children, and now selfish people are everywhere in the country," Spyro stated.   The artist, who has recently used his platform to passionately campaign for the rescue of the abducted Oyo school children, concluded his message with a plea for national reformation.   Nigerian singer, Niniola Apata, has shared a cryptic post suggesting that blood is no longer thicker than water, adding that d3ath unmasks people's real character.    The Grammy-nominated artist stated this on her Instagram story while penning heartfelt appreciation notes to the Apata family, her colleagues and friends for their support following the d3ath of her husband, Michael Ndika.    A service of songs was held on Saturday ahead of her late husband’s burial during the week.   “It's better to have pure water run through your veins than blood that it is supposed to be thicker,” she wrote.   “D3ath let's you see people's true form.”

  Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Ahmed Ololade, better known as Asake, has captured widespread attention online after a video surfaced showing him among thousands of pilgrims at the Kaaba in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. The clip, which has gone viral on social media platforms including X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook, depicts the "Mr. Money With The Vibe" singer dressed in simple white ihram garments, navigating the dense crowd during his Umrah pilgrimage. In the footage, Asake is seen being lifted and assisted by fellow worshippers as he strives to reach and touch the Hajar al-Aswad (Black Stone), a revered Islamic relic embedded in the eastern corner of the Kaaba.
