Oyo Police Nab Three Suspected Armed Robbers, Recover ₦31.75m Worth of Stolen Poultry Feeds in Major Breakthrough
In a significant win against armed robbery, the Oyo State Police Command has arrested three suspects linked to a daring highway robbery and recovered goods worth more than Thirty-One Million, Seven Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (₦31,750,000). The arrests followed credible intelligence and a tip-off from members of the public regarding an armed robbery incident along the Coca-Cola area in Asejire, Ibadan, where a victim, Ezekiel Inije, was reportedly attacked at gunpoint by a five-man gang. Leveraging human intelligence, technology, and investigative expertise, police operatives tracked the suspects to the Oko area of Ogbomoso, leading to the apprehension of three members of the syndicate.
