  A man identified as George Kazomo, has d!ed two weeks after his wedding in Zambia.      ​Kazomo passed away Sunday, September 27, 2026, after falling ill on Thursday.      A Facebook user, Bramz BZ announced the sad news on his page on Sunday, September 27, drawing an outpouring of grief across the country.    “It's with deep sorrow that we regret to announce the untimely passing of George Kazomo, who sadly passed away today, 27th September 2026, after falling ill on Thursday. George had only been married for two weeks before his untimely d3ath. Funeral is being held at 23 Mwambashi Street. Burial arrangements and further updates will be communicated in due course.   A herder, identified as Abubakar Abdullahi, has been assaulted by a farmer, Mr Caleb Bulus, following an alleged dispute over the destruction of farm crops in Kwanga village, Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.   Security sources told Zagazola Makama that the incident occurred at about 4:45 p.m. on September 25, 2026, when troops of Sector 1, Sub-Sector 12, responded to a report of the assault.   The herder reportedly sustained injuries during the incident and was evacuated to the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) for medical attention.   The suspect, Bulus, was arrested and handed over to Keystone Authority, Jos, for further investigation and appropriate action.   Security sources said the incident was being monitored to prevent the dispute from escalating into further communal tension in the area.

  A two-year-old child has been euthanised after the Dutch government cut its age limit for assisted dying.   The toddler was nearly 24 months old and suffering from severe medical conditions, a review board in the Netherlands revealed.   Bitcoin climbed above $85,000 on Monday, September 21, reaching its highest level in eight months as the cryptocurrency extended its recent rally.
