A Nigerian lady, Angela Onoja, has revealed the unexpected reaction from a driver after she told him that a man broke her heart.

According to Angela, she couldn’t tell the driver the truth when he asked why she was crying so she lied about being heartbroken.

“I booked a ride and I was so teary. The man noticed I was crying and asked me why. I couldn’t tell him the truth so I lied that someone broke my heart,” she wrote.

He shouted “Kai! You are a fool! You dey cry for man for 2026! Why you go dey cry because of man”

I started laughing out loud because I didn’t even see that response coming.

I am heartbroken and you are abusing me. What happened to helping me feel better? Lagosians are wired differently.
