RCCG Continent 3 Unveils Free Digital Skills Training for 8,400 Nigerians to Honour Pastor Adeboye's 84th Birthday"

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has announced a major free digital skills empowerment programme to commemorate the 84th birthday of its General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who turns 84 on March 2, 2026.

The initiative, launched by RCCG Continent 3, targets 8,400 Nigerians—primarily youths, young adults, church members, students, job seekers, entrepreneurs, and the general public—with practical, income-generating digital training. It aims to combat youth unemployment, bridge the digital divide, create sustainable income pathways through freelancing and digital entrepreneurship, and support Nigeria's socio-economic transformation while aligning with the church's broader vision for empowerment and community impact.

Pastor Johnson Funsho Odesola (Continent 3 Overseer) described the programme as more than a birthday gesture: “This is not merely a birthday celebration — it is a strategic investment in the future of our nation. By empowering 8,400 individuals with digital skills, we are creating pathways out of poverty and positioning Nigerians to compete in the global digital economy.”

Pastor Johnson Kalejaiye (in related announcements) emphasized equipping participants with skills for employability, discipleship, evangelism, and long-term national development.

Key training areas include:

Video editing

Graphic design

Digital marketing

Social media management

Animation

Content creation

Monetisation of digital skills

The programme begins on March 1, 2026, and will be coordinated by Love Transformation Academy (the empowerment arm of RCCG Love Assembly, Lagos Province 1) in partnership with Faith Cometh Multimedia Consultants (or similar technical partners). Training will be delivered via Zoom, with RCCG parishes, regions, provinces, and zones across Continent 3 serving as local study centres. This setup allows participants without personal internet or devices to attend in groups at church facilities, while also providing mentorship, follow-up support, and opportunities for non-church members.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and the training is completely free. Interested individuals are encouraged to engage through their local RCCG parishes or watch for official announcements from Continent 3 or Love Transformation Academy for exact registration steps.
