Tompolo's Tantita Security Praised by Coalition for Reviving Nigeria's Oil Fortunes

 A coalition of stakeholders has commended Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL), led by High Chief Government Ekpemupolo (popularly known as Tompolo), for its significant role in enhancing Nigeria's crude oil production through effective pipeline surveillance and protection in the Niger Delta.

In a statement highlighting Tantita's contributions, the group noted that since the company was engaged by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) for pipeline security, there has been a noticeable uptick in national oil output, alongside a sharp decline in illegal bunkering and pipeline vandalism.

“TANTITA has demonstrated professionalism and commitment in working closely with the Nigerian Navy, the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, and other security agencies,” the coalition stated. “There has been a marked improvement in oil production output, a drastic reduction in illegal bunkering activities, and enhanced collaboration among security stakeholders.”

The efforts, according to the coalition, have enabled Nigeria to more consistently meet its OPEC production quotas and rebuild investor confidence in the oil and gas sector. Reports from various sources indicate that Nigeria's crude output has risen from lows around 1 million barrels per day in previous years to averages approaching 1.7–1.8 million barrels per day in recent periods, with Tantita's interventions credited as a key factor in curbing economic sabotage.

Tantita's work has involved community engagement, arrests of suspects, dismantling of illegal refineries, and discovery of illicit connections—contributing to broader stability in the region. Stakeholders, including government officials and local groups, have repeatedly praised the collaboration between Tantita and security forces as a model for protecting critical national assets.

The coalition urged continued support for such initiatives to sustain gains and further boost revenue for national development.

This development comes amid ongoing efforts to secure Nigeria's oil infrastructure and diversify economic contributions from the Niger Delta.
