Alexander Brothers Convicted in Shocking Sex Trafficking Case: Luxury Real Estate Stars Face Life Sentences After Decades of Alleged Abuse

 

In a verdict that has stunned the luxury real estate world, a federal jury in Manhattan convicted three brothers—Oren Alexander, Tal Alexander, and Alon Alexander—of engaging in a long-running sex trafficking conspiracy. The decision came Monday after a five-week trial marked by graphic testimony from 11 women who described being drugged, assaulted, and raped by the siblings over nearly two decades.

Oren and Tal Alexander, once celebrated as top-tier brokers, rose to fame handling ultra-luxury properties in New York and Miami. They previously worked at Douglas Elliman, where they closed massive deals—including a record-breaking $240 million penthouse sale in 2019—and later founded their own boutique firm, Official. Known for their glamorous lifestyle, celebrity clients, and high-profile parties, the brothers were often dubbed the "A Team" in the industry.

Prosecutors alleged that the trio—Oren and Alon (38-year-old twins) and Tal (39)—used their wealth, social connections, and prominent positions in real estate to lure women and girls to exclusive events, lavish trips, and private gatherings. There, according to the government, victims were drugged with substances like cocaine and club drugs before being forcibly sexually assaulted. The scheme reportedly spanned from at least 2010 to 2021, involving dozens of women, though the trial focused on charges related to multiple victims.

The brothers faced multiple counts, including conspiracy to commit sex trafficking and sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion—charges carrying mandatory minimums of 15 years and potential life sentences. They pleaded not guilty and denied all allegations, with defense attorneys arguing the encounters were consensual amid a playboy lifestyle that may have hurt feelings but did not constitute criminal acts.

After roughly 20 hours of deliberations, the jury found all three guilty on every count. The verdict marks a dramatic downfall for Oren and Tal, whose real estate success once symbolized glamour and wealth in New York and Miami markets. Alon Alexander, who worked in the family's private security firm, was also implicated in the conspiracy.

Sentencing is scheduled for August 6, 2026, before U.S. District Judge Valerie E. Caproni. The brothers could face life in prison.
