The Los Angeles Police Department responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 1:21 p.m. in the upscale Beverly Crest neighborhood. A 30-year-old female suspect was taken into custody shortly after the incident. Police stated she fired multiple rounds from an AR-15-style rifle toward the residence from inside her vehicle before fleeing the scene.

Between 5 and 10 shots were fired, with some striking the property's gate, an RV parked nearby, and at least one bullet penetrating an exterior wall of the mansion.
