President Donald Trump has issued a stark ultimatum to Iranian forces amid the escalating U.S.-Israeli military campaign against Iran, warning members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), regular military, and police to lay down their arms or face "absolutely guaranteed death."

In recent statements from the White House (around March 5-6, 2026), Trump offered "total immunity" to those who surrender, defect, or cooperate with U.S. and allied efforts, emphasizing they would be "perfectly safe" if they stand with the Iranian people against the regime. He explicitly stated: "You'll be perfectly safe with total immunity or you'll face absolutely guaranteed death. And I don't want to see that."

This comes as U.S. and Israeli strikes have reportedly devastated Iranian military capabilities, including missiles, drones, naval assets, and air defenses, with operations entering their second week. Trump has also demanded Iran's "unconditional surrender" as the only path to ending the conflict, stating no deals will be made otherwise. He has suggested that post-surrender, he would personally approve a new leadership for Iran to rebuild the country stronger economically.

Iranian officials, including President Masoud Pezeshkian, have rejected calls for capitulation, vowing never to surrender and framing the demands as an unattainable "dream" for the U.S.

The remarks have drawn widespread coverage, with Trump framing the message as a direct appeal to Iranian soldiers and personnel to avoid further destruction.
