A Nigerian-British man has appeared in court charged with the m8rder of a 21-year-old film student, Finbar Sullivan, in London, United Kingdom.

Sullivan was fatally st@bbed on Primrose Hill on 7 April, 2026.

Oliuwadamilola Ogunyankinnu, 27, of Southbury Road in Enfield spoke to confirm his name during the short hearing at Stratford Magistrates' Court on Monday, April 13.

District Judge Ashwinder Gill told Ogunyankinnu his case was too serious to be heard at the magistrates' court.

Ogunyankinnu was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on 15 April.

Sullivan was a film student at the London Screen Academy.

He was found with knife wounds near the viewing point at the north London beauty spot on Tuesday.

His father, Chris Sullivan, 65, told BBC London he had lost his only son, who was referred to by friends and family as Fin.

"All of his friends said he was the light, the leader. His friends' parents loved him. This is why it's so tragic," he said.
