Laqunlay Unveils “SIM (Speaking Innermost Mind)” – A Soulful Birthday Project Blending Fuji, Afro-Vibe, and Highlife
Nigerian singer, songwriter, and Nigerian Idol Season 5 winner Laqunlay (formerly known as K-Peace) has officially released his highly anticipated album SIM (Speaking Innermost Mind), a deeply personal project that lays bare his reflections, emotions, and artistic evolution.
The 9-track album, which runs approximately 24 minutes, dropped on April 7, 2026, and is now available on all major streaming platforms including Amazon Music, Audiomack, and others. Conceived as a special birthday project, SIM serves as Laqunlay’s intimate sonic diary — a bold declaration of “speaking his innermost mind” through music that fuses traditional Nigerian sounds with contemporary energy.
