Skit maker Zicsaloma has advised people who begin earning well to distance themselves from friends and family members who are lazy, entitled or financially dependent on them.

 

He said some people expect successful friends to keep giving them money simply because they were around when they had nothing, often squandering whatever they receive before returning for more.

 

Zicsaloma also stressed that money earned through legitimate means is not necessarily money available for sharing, as successful people still have businesses to fund, investments to make and their financial future to secure

He urged people to cut off relationships that constantly drain their resources, saying such individuals could eventually drag them back into financial hardship.
